To keep the stories straight:
Genieva agrees to marry Brevan-- some sort of mail order bride--to escape her life and Brevan only wants a hard working woman, not a pretty face to distract him. (I know Serene thinks Matthew Goode is too wimpy looking, but other than that? Doesn't he posess Brevan's face?) I loved the fight to keep his hands off her for two weeks to win that heifer and that through the entire book they are MARRIED.
And that they say the word BUM.
